Research Area – MBP International Scientific Network

Catalysis & Artificial Metalloenzymes

Design and engineering of bioinspired catalysts: de novo peptides or miniature protein scaffolds that mimic natural metalloenzymes. This includes metallo-coiled coils, SpyTag/SpyCatcher assemblies, and other peptide constructs with metal sites for aqueous catalysis (oxidations, photochemistry, bioinspired transformations).
