Research Activities

I am a graduate researcher specializing in the field of metal-binding peptides and their roles in biological systems. My work explores the structural and functional properties of a protein found in squids that interact with metal ions, focusing on its ability to self-assemble into iridescent structures. My research involves using advanced spectroscopic techniques and molecular modeling to investigate the structure-function relationships of this protein and representative peptides in a biooptic context.
